This is our furnace and three of our five glory holes

kilns or annealing ovens
Glass working inherently causes temperature variation and stress. Placing the piece in the kiln at 1000 degrees strengthens the glass. The process is called annealing. Our two large ovens and three kilns are sufficient for classes and advanced artists to utilize.

Large fusing ovens
Supports fusing projects up to 3’x5’. In the side is a fused silica viewing window and is controlled by a computer so we can obtain the specific temperatures needed to fuse and slump table tops, sinks, and plates as well as other items.
